Pellet Mill Operator
The Pellet Mill Operator is primarily responsible for operation of the pellet mill. The main goal will be to pellet all feed ordered for both packing and bulk load out In doing so, he/she must be able to successfully run feed by coordinating the pellet mill and its supporting systems; you must be able to correctly sequence all feed; make sure to send all feed to the correct locations – whether it be packing of bulk load out; regularly maintain/clean the pellet mills and pellet mill support systems; familiarize self with products and their required specifications; and anything else supervisor requires. The qualified candidate will have the ability to work 40+ hours per week. You must be able to repeatedly lift 50lbs and be mechanically inclined. The candidate must be able to multi-task, work as a team player, and work in a fast-paced environment with very high responsibilities.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED

Essential Physical Requirements:
Working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, you will be walking, standing and engaging in movement throughout the day, and occasionally/frequently be required to lift items weighing up to 50lbs. Due to a large variety of job duties (both routine and non-routine), certain duties may also involve a variety of physical activities including bending, lifting, stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms above shoulders and head, standing, working in enclosed areas, climbing stairs or ladders and operating heavy machinery. The noise level in the work environment can vary buy is usually low to moderate. You may be required to wear personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety gloves, hearing protection, a respirator or dust mask, protective footwear, and protective clothing or uniforms. Work may be performed in cold and/or hot temperatures and the environment can be dusty. Further physical requirements include the ability to engage in productive and collaborative communication with co-workers and work may need to be performed during non-standard hours, including nights and weekends. At times, the ability to work overtime may also be required. The ability to perform these requirements is necessary to successfully perform the functions of this job.
